Sextech is any kind of technology or technology-driven venture that is designed to enhance, innovate or change human sexuality and sexual experience. From the ordinary toy, virtual sex and sex with robots, to sex applications or devices and adapted equipment for disabled people.

Sextech is a massively growing multi-million market, rich with potential and opportunity.

Those who advocate for it, would say sextech plays a crucial part in the (mental) health and wellbeing sector, with a real chance to positively impact many lives.

But should we also consider the downside of technological freedom and its consequences? And are we, or are we not, running up against ethical limits?
